Custom Domain Setup Guide

Map your own custom domain or subdomain (e.g., card.yourdomain.com) to your news portal on PressIDCard.in in 3 simple steps.

Step 1

Submit Subdomain in Dashboard

Log in to your Channel Admin Dashboard, go to Settings and open the Custom Domain tab. Enter your custom subdomain (e.g., card.yournewsportal.com) and click Save Domain Settings.

Enter the subdomain exactly as card.yourdomain.com (without https:// or www).

Step 2

Add CNAME Record in DNS

Log in to the DNS management panel of your domain registrar (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Hostinger) and add a new CNAME record:

CNAME	`card` (or your subdomain name)	`pressidcard.in`	Automatic / 1 Hour

Step 3

Wait for Verification & SSL Activation

DNS propagation usually takes from a few minutes up to 24 hours. Once pointed correctly, the Platform Admin will automatically activate the **SSL Certificate** and mark your domain as **Verified & Active**.

Cloudflare Users Note: If your domain uses Cloudflare, set the Proxy status of this CNAME record to DNS Only (Grey Cloud) during setup so that SSL certificate generation and domain verification can complete successfully.
