01 Acceptance of Terms

By registering a Media Channel or as a Reporter, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of a Media House, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

02 Description of Service

PressIDCard.in provides a cloud-based ecosystem for media organizations to:

• Manage reporter applications and databases.
• Generate QR-verified Press ID Cards and official documents.
• Verify credentials in real-time via dynamic QR technology.
• Maintain RNI-compliant reporter records.

03 User Responsibility

Media Houses (Channels) are solely responsible for verifying the background and credentials of reporters they approve. PressIDCard.in does not perform background checks on individual reporters.

• Channels must ensure all issued ID cards contain accurate data.
• Misuse of "Press" status for illegal activities is strictly prohibited.
• Channels must deactivate reporters immediately upon termination of their service.

04 Payments and Subscriptions

Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. All payments are processed via secured third-party gateways (Razorpay). Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or yearly basis and are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

05 Prohibited Activities

Users shall not use the platform to:

• Issue fraudulent or misleading press credentials.
• Impersonate any government official or media authority.
• Attempt to bypass QR verification security measures.
• Harass, threaten or defraud any individual or organization.

06 Intellectual Property

All software, designs, and systems on PressIDCard.in are the intellectual property of the platform owners. Media Houses retain ownership of their uploaded logos, stamps, and reporter data.

07 Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or brings disrepute to the profession of journalism.
